A living room, not just a bedside table

The two drawbacks worth knowing
Cleaning is genuinely bad, and it is the reason to hesitate

Fifty hours assumes cool mist on the lowest setting. Measured runtime is under 21 hours at the highest setting, and around 36 hours on cool mist alone.
Ultrasonic misting also atomises dissolved minerals, so hard water leaves a fine white film on nearby surfaces. Distilled water fixes it and becomes the running cost this machine otherwise avoids.
